The 27th Annual Texas Crawfish and Music Festival is two weekends full of delicious crawfish, awesome music and unlimited fun for all ages!! The Annual Texas Crawfish Festival takes place in the historic 1900′s railroad town of Old Town Spring. It is one of the largest and longest running festivals in Houston, showcasing tons of local, regional and national music entertainment, featuring local artists and vendors, and serving some of the tastiest Southern Louisiana Crawfish. The City of League City hosts League City Uncorked: A Global Wine and Art Experience on Mar. 23-24, 2013. The event will be held in the eighty-six acre Walter Hall Park in League City, TX from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Celebrating imaginations through uniting international cultures, the event will bring a weekend of fine arts, exotic wines and universal customs. The combination of breathtaking art and delicious wine will be paired with appetizing food and entertaining music. During League City Uncorked, festival goers will be amazed, inspired, enlightened and entertained as they stroll the promenades of the worldwide cultures.

LGM’s first single, Con Solo Una Mirada, was recently chosen to be featured on the 2013 East Texas Music Compilation!! The Album Release Party will take place on Thursday, March 21st, 2013 at Lago del Pino in Tyler, Tx. The night will showcase the vast entertainment spectrum that covers East Texas!

ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run

ConocoPhillips will host the 26th annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013. Participants will enjoy a new course that begins in the heart of downtown Houston and continues along the scenic Allen Parkway as a kick-off for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) Parade.

This tradition, which raises scholarship funds for Texas youth, will once again lead the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) Parade past thousands of cheering spectators in downtown Houston. Since 1988, ConocoPhillips has donated all Rodeo Run entry fees to the HLSR Educational Fund, totaling $3.3 million to date. Through these donations, the Rodeo Run has helped make college dreams a reality for Texas high school students. Last year, a record 15,000 participants took part in the Rodeo Run, generating a record $400,000 for college scholarships.

Runners and walkers of all levels are invited to participate in the 10K race and 5K fun run/walk. Staying true to the Rodeo Run tradition, the family-friendly event will feature a costume contest, entertainment along the course and a Texas-sized post-race party, making the run one of the most popular and memorable events in the region. This year an expected 17,000 runners and walkers will participate in the event.

The Racecourse

This year, participants will enjoy new 10K race and 5K fun run/walk courses that begins in the heart of downtown and continues down the scenic Allen Parkway. Runners and walkers will experience plenty of Texas hoopla along the racecourse as they kick off the HLSR Parade in downtown Houston.

The ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run 10K is sanctioned by USA Track & Field and the Gulf Association of USA Track & Field. 10K race participants are expected to strictly adhere to USA Track & Field operating regulations. The 5K fun run/walk is unsanctioned, noncompetitive, and fun for the whole family!

Wrecking the stage at Reliant Center for Univision’s ‘Festival de Mayo’!! Wow what a fun show that was! We rocked the crap out of that sound system that day!!

#3. Adding Vanessa Alonzo, Simon Coffman, Aldo Amaya, & Daniel Contreras to the group!! These guys are just great and we love having them in the group!! Each of them contribute SO much to the band. We can’t wait to see what we come up with in 2013!! It’s gonna be on!!

Getting the opportunity to play at the awesome Miller Outdoor Theatre!! So many memories have been created at this awesome venue. Who remembers sliding or rolling down that hill as little kids? Who STILL does that?? Haahaa! And soo many great performers have come to the Miller stage since it was built in 1968. We were just lucky enough to be one of them!

And for our #1 moment of 2012…IT HAS TO BE the time we were chosen to perform live on Univision for Noticias 45 and on TeleFutura for Vive La Mañana!! Man that was a long night for us…didn’t sleep, had to be at the TV studio at 3am, sound check at 430. But when the cameras started to roll we turned it on high gear and really kicked some butt! Ahhh good times, good times!

HAPPPPPYYY NEW YEAR TO ALL THE WARRIORS OUT THERE FROM LOS GUERREROS DE LA MUSICA!!!! MAY YOUR 2013 ROCK HARD!!!!
