Victor played 6 years in the NFL, playing 3 years with the Buffalo Bills and 3 years with The Kansas City Chiefs. He serves as the owner/operator and is also the head chef. La Vie Fusion Bistro & Lounge is Bistro/Catering company that specializes in Caribbean, Soul food and Creole cuisine. All of our signature dishes are prepared daily from scratch using the freshest ingredients.

Come on out to the green lawn of Live Oak Friends Meeting in Shady Acres, aka The Heights, to meet and mingle with local and national organizations working to improve our community. While at the same time grooving to a variety of music and entertainment.
There will be lot’s activities for both kids and adults: story telling, drum workshop facilitated by Baba Ifalade, puppet performances facilitated by Poopy Lungstuffing, a marimba workshop facilitated by Joel Laviolette & Rattletree Marimba, and more!!

HONORED REGION: The 2014 Houston International Festival is proud to spotlight
Australia, presenting a breathtaking picture of the best of Australian history, arts and
culture.

MUSIC, FOOD, MARKETS AND MORE: A total of 6-8 entertainment zones will feature performance stages in each zone. These zones and stages will feature great music from around the world, including music from the honored country, reggae, jazz, blues, Americana music, and children’s programming. More than 40 restaurants will offer a smorgasbord of cuisine, and festival visitors can show for unique items at a Juried Art Market and six other arts markets.

IT’S ABOUT EDUCATION: 2013 marks the 43rd by a 501-c-3 non-profit organization, the Houston Festival Foundation, Inc. Festival proceeds benefit the education program of the foundation, which produces a teacher’s curriculum guide on the spotlighted country’s culture. The curriculum guide reaches a potential 900,000 students at 1,471 campuses in seven Texas counties.
